Walking into Xocolatti on Prince St is like walking into an art exhibit, only in miniature. And the best thing is it's entirely edible. Lining the walls are artfully-designed chocolate creations. There are truffles that are as interesting to look at as they are to eat in flavors like Olive Oil Basil which takes on a greenish hue. A glistening blue Sake truffle is inspired by a Thai-style rice wine. Pisto, made with a pistachio paste, is topped with Persian pistis, bits of deep green baby pistachios from Iran. Our favorite - passion fruit - a fruity chocolaty delight sprinkled with crystallized purple sugar. The shop also sells slates in white and dark chocolate, including one sprinkled with rose hips. A small package of pomegranate clusters made with yogurt and bits of Woodbury jelly would make a perfect gift. If you are a little more daring try the chocolate coconut pineapple crumble inspired by a Pina Colada and sold in a large test tube. The handmade chocolates at Xocolatti don't come cheaply. But you don't very need much. These chocolates are meant for savoring. - Thomas Rafael
