Details:

Designed as more of a cultural hub than food hall, Olly Olly Market is a space where up-and-coming chefs, as well as internationally-recognized ones, can show off their trade. The playful name comes from the children’s phrase ‘Olly Olly Oxen Free’ which is usually followed with ‘Come out! Come out! Wherever you are!.' It’s a phrase Bruce Finkelman, Managing Partner of 16” on Center, which operates the market, says encompasses the fun, excitement and welcomeness of the space.

Visitors will find interesting food vendors as well as two cocktail bars led by award-winning bartender and author Julia Momosé. Vendors include an interactive chefs counter and to-go menu of customizable Yubu, Korean Inari pockets, at DdoBar from the team behind Joomak Banjum; Sicilian-style pan pizzas by Chef Noah Sandoval of Chicago's Oriole and named one of the city's top chefs 40 Under 40 by Crain's; Regional Mexican street foods by Ploo; a fast-casual Italian Rotisserie by Andrew LoPresto and Bruno Molfetta called Pen’n’Coop where rotisserie chicken and porchetta is served; and Boy Blue Coffee & Goods among others.

There is also a 5,000 square foot exhibition space, currently featuring the “Jean-Michael Basquiat: King Pleasure'' exhibit. Future plans for the space, which can accommodate up to 500 people, include concerts, fashion shows, installations and other events.
