Cititour Review:

Cast your line over to Svenningsen's for some of the city's freshest seafood. This friendly restaurant is a hidden gem just blocks away from Macy's at Herald Square. Their lobster stew ($7.50) in a sherry and cream sauce is to die for. You'll want to lick the bottom of the bowl. But save some room. There's lots to choose from at Svenningsen's from clams and oysters on the half shell to steamers and fried Ipswitch clams. The seafood crepe ($17.50) is loaded with some of the sweetest lobster you'll taste and scallops that will melt in your mouth, as well as baby shrimp and fresh lump crab meat. The dish is simple and simply delicious, served with steamed red potatoes, broccoli and an ear of corn. Svenningsen's claims it's lobster roll ($13.50) is the best sandwich in the world, and we believe them. For dessert there's key lime pie, or a carmel fudge brownie sundae if you still have room. So, if you can't make it to the shore, definitely make it to Svenningsen's. It's worth the trip!
