The Landing has landed at the new Penn 1 skyscraper adjacent to Penn Station and Madison Square Garden in Midtown. The full-service restaurant and luxurious lounge is located off the “Social Stair” on the second level offering a unique space for dining, working, meeting and socializing. Hospitality group DMK is the force behind the venture, led by restaurateur David Morton, of the Morton Steakhouse family.

Inside the restaurant is a stylish fluted black marble and mirrored 12-seat bar, enough restaurant seating for 150, and two private dining spaces perfect for social gatherings.

The Landing, Penn 1, NYC, Food Photo: Julia Gillard Manning the kitchen is James Beard nominated Executive Chef Brian Huston whose eclectic menu includes such dishes as Burrata with heirloom tomato, walnut spinach pesto and grilled focaccia; Cavatelli Bolognese with pecorino; Grilled Branzino with wilted swiss chard, garlic, calabrian chili, and salsa verde; and BBQ Carrots with buttermilk dressing. Breakfast and lunch are also offered. Think – bagels with house-cured gravlax, challah French toast and pancakes with blueberry compote. Sandwiches and burgers include a Crispy Shrimp Po Boy.

Wines from some of the world’s greatest producers can also be found along with craft beers from local brewers.
